Unfortunately, I was not able to complete a write up for my week 14 NFL & DFS picks due to my busy schedule during finals week. But, I am on break now and extremely excited and ready to focus all my attention towards the sports world and my analysis. Here were my picks from week 14: http://games.espn.go.com/nfl-pigskin-pickem/2015/en/entry?entryID=26891. (8-8) is a disappointing record for me as there were eight favorites who lost, and I did not pick against those teams. Week 15 is similar to week 14 in the fact that it seems like most matchups are simple to pick for. Hopefully, the NFL is full of unexpected surprises to make another week of football that more enjoyable. So, without further ado, here are my week 15 NFL & DFS picks:

New York Jets 34, Dallas Cowboys 17

The New York Jets travel to Dallas for the Saturday night special and should not have an issue defeating the ‘Boys. While the Cowboys have been surprisingly stout defending the pass and receivers, the Jets sport one of the better passing attacks that Dallas has faced. Darren McFadden and Robert Turbin turned in a nice performance a week ago in Green Bay, but New York is one of the best when it comes to shutting down the run. Matt Cassel is not going to do much against the Jets secondary with Darrelle Revis returning from his concussion. The Jets have more to lose in this game than the Cowboys do. Expect the Jets to be explosive and show a will to win in order to retain their projected seed in the playoffs.

New York DFS Picks: QB Ryan Fitzpatrick, RB Bilal Powell, WR Eric Decker, Jets D/ST
Dallas DFS Picks: Avoid Dallas players, but WR Terrence Williams could see some targets with Dez Bryant being on Revis Island

Philadelphia Eagles 30, Arizona Cardinals 27

This is another kind of gut pick; I feel like the Eagles are hotter and pumped for a prime time game. The Eagles have strung a nice couple of wins together over the Patriots and Bills, two competitive AFC East teams. The Cardinals are the second seed in the NFC and have a very good trio of wide receivers (Larry Fitzgerald, John Brown, Michael Floyd) with Carson Palmer slinging the football. While the Eagles struggle in the secondary and will have a tough task stopping the Cardinals’ offense, I feel like the Eagles will win the battle on special teams and match Arizona with their own offense.

Philadelphia DFS Picks: RB Darren Sproles, WR Nelson Agholor, TE Zach Ertz
Arizona DFS Picks: QB Carson Palmer, RB David Johnson, WR’s Larry Fitzgerald & Michael Floyd

"People ask me what I do in the winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring."
