Week 10 was an interesting and crazy week. Lots of upsets had taken place at the hands of dastardly underdogs (Jacksonville over Baltimore, Miami over Philadelphia, Kansas City over Denver, Detroit over Green Bay, Chicago over St. Louis).

My record improved to (89-55) after the craziness of this week. I was (7-6). Here is a link to my NFL picks just for confirmation that I am telling the truth. http://games.espn.go.com/nfl-pigskin-pickem/2015/en/entry?entryID=26891

Looking forward to week 11, there are some interesting divisional matchups this week, as well as some interleague play. The Titans and Jaguars lead off on Thursday night with their new color rush uniforms (which I really liked) and the Patriots and Bills round out the week on Monday. At first glance, there are not that many worthwhile games. Teams are starting to solidify their identities as pretenders and contenders.

Here are my NFL and DFS picks for week 11

Tennessee Titans 29, Jacksonville Jaguars 27

This game is more of a feeling than a logical pick. The general consensus favorite is Jacksonville, but Mariota is starting to come into his own as an NFL QB. This could be a low scoring game because neither team is very good (as usual). I like the Titans because Jacksonville allowed Joe Flacco to throw for over 300 yards and gave up touchdowns to multiple tight ends, Crockett Gilmore and Maxx Garrett. Justin Forsett was a nonfactor, which was a surprise to me being that the Ravens have underwhelming talent at the receiver position, especially after they lost Steve Smith Sr. My point is that the Titans have a nonexistent running game, so they will be inclined to pass, and Mariota likes his tight end in Delanie Walker. Expect the Titans and Jaguars to put the football in the hands of their quarterbacks and let them battle it out with Mariota ultimately winning.

DFS Tennessee picks: QB Marcus Mariota, TE Delanie Walker
DFS Jacksonville picks: QB Blake Bortles, WRs Allen Hurns & Allen Robinson

Atlanta Falcons 24, Indianapolis Colts 17

The Colts season is not a lost cause due to their being in the collegiate level division that is the AFC South, but losing quarterback Andrew Luck for a month was a huge blow. The Falcons have struggled lately after being upset back to back weeks against the Buccaneers and 49ers. I am really tempted to pick the Colts because I do not trust the Falcons entirely, but I feel like they corrected their bugs over the bye week. Devonta Freeman is going to GO OFF. The Colts will focus to heavily on stopping Julio Jones, which will open up the running game for a good running team against a bad team.

DFS Atlanta picks: RB Devonta Freeman
DFS Indianapolis picks: RB Frank Gore, WR Andre Johnson

Denver Broncos 20, Chicago Bears 16

The Bears are NOT as bad as people think they are. They just scored 37 points without their star running back Matt Forte against a St. Louis Rams defense. Jeremy Langford was some find in the 2015 draft. I was upset when the Steelers did not use a pick to grab him. Not that I do not like De’Angelo Williams because he was just as good of a find, but there was chemistry between Langford and Le’Veon Bell, plus the age difference between Williams and Langford.

Anyway, the Bears are starting to impress me, while Peyton Manning and the Broncos are starting to disappoint me. The Broncos lost the Chiefs AT HOME. They never lose in Denver, right? Or, maybe the statistic about head coach Andy Reid being extremely successful after bye weeks is true. In this case the latter is correct. Like Rex Ryan, I think John Fox takes the fight to his former team when they travel to Chicago, but the Broncos will manage a win in the windy city. Brock Osweiler will get his first career start and will give fresh life to this Broncos offense. It will be a low scoring game because Jay Cutler is still Jay Cutler, the Broncos are struggling on offense and both defense are elite.

DFS Chicago Picks: This is tough; Forte and Langford might split carries if Forte is available. Alshon seems like the next logical choice, but the Broncos secondary is ridiculously good at the top three spots. I believe Langford will get more touches… so go with Jeremy Langford.
DFS Denver Picks: Broncos D/ST, RB Ronnie Hillman

Dallas Cowboys 27, Miami Dolphins 23

Tony Romo is the MVP of the Dallas Cowboys. So many fans were tough on him. He is the reason the Cowboys got anywhere in the past years. The Cowboys are just scratching the surface of a win. They are not losing badly. I think the Cowboys grab a statement win against the Dolphins. While the Dolphins improved after the firing of Joe Philbin, they still are not that good. The Cowboys’ offensive line is too dominant for the Dolphins’ defensive line.

DFS Dallas Picks: QB Tony Romo, WR Dez Bryant, TE Jason Witten
DFS Miami Picks: RB Lamar Miller
